Rena Wells has been painting in oils since high school, capturing the natural beauty of her surroundings on Vancouver Island and in the Okanagan Valley. Her work reflects a deep connection to the landscapes she calls home. In addition to traditional canvases, Rena has embraced more unconventional surfaces—painting forest creatures in acrylic on rocks of all sizes and transforming large fungi from ancient forests into striking, organic artworks. Her travels have taken her far from her home where she translates the beauty of exotic surroundings into vibrant, expressive art.
